What Can I Use Instead of a Pizza Cutter?

If you don’t want to make the investment in a specialized kitchen device like this, don’t worry! You can still slice your pizza into nice, even slices.

  • First, find a sharp knife that’s relatively long and not serrated. A chef’s knife or santoku is ideal.
  • Put the tip of the knife into the center of your pizza and push down firmly, then bring down the handle, applying pressure the whole time. This will cut halfway across your pizza.
